Gossip Girl: Chuck and Blair protagonists of the fourth season

series, clearly recovered from last year, returns to be sparkling and exciting, full of twists and intriguing new characters. To become the main protagonist, once again, the controversial romance between Chuck and Blair.

The plays of Gossip Girl, the average over two million viewers per episode, do not do full justice to the series by Josh Schwartz, definitely in slope than at the time of crisis experienced last year and now more than ever, funny, exciting as it once was. Pick up some basic
winning weapons (aside somewhere during the third season), all the arrogant and intrusive return of Gossip Girl blogger rumors that throws poisons and the Upper East Side, the series has reclaimed the verve that had brought success in 2007, regain the carefree and irreverent tone that has always distinguished.
After the interlude of Paris early in the season, the second episode, Double Identity, brings to the stage now the clash between Chuck and Blair in the French capital, still bitter and wounded as he had ended their relationship after "Hurricane Jenny", and still undecided about what to do.
latent indecision, which even today, after the sixth installment, continues to hover in the air, confirming the willingness of authors to keep fans in suspense until the last and do not reveal what the final fate in store for the couple.
A game of betrayal and hostility animates their liaison, and even the strong presence of Eva (Clémence Poésy) in the life of Chuck manages to put a spoke in the wheel is heavy Blair, willing to do anything to impose its under the worst suffering. The latter, on the road to redemption after a terrible adventure in Prague and decided a new start without tripping over the mistakes made in the past, returns to New York with the best intentions, despite all prove hostile to him.
Again, as in the past, the only one willing to turn a blind eye to the questionable behavior of the boy, is Lily, who on this occasion also offers you the comfort needed to overcome the difficult return to society, fueled by anger Rufus and Eric, still shaken by the irresponsible attitude taken by Chuck against Jenny. The link between the young Bass and his ex-stepmother, overcomes obstacles and prejudices, and once again confirms the best jackets for Chuck, kept afloat, otherwise, only love Eva, naive and altruistic enough to offer him a second chance.
capricious and fickle as ever, but Blair does not accept the situation with good grace, and proving once again without hesitation or limit when it comes to getting what they want, can put in a bad light and the sweet French girl in Touch of Eve, the sentence or trial, guiding it toward the inevitable showdown with Chuck that the door to leave New York with arms and baggage.
a war breaks out as unique, which convinces Chuck to enroll at Columbia, the new kingdom of Blair, to hamper its way to popularity, and that leads, episode after episode, one keeps on hitting and entertaining ambiguous situations, that bring to mind the first two seasons of the series, so those that marked the beginning of their tumultuous and fascinating love story. A love story in which the authors point all that for now and still can, in times of truce and in that game looks that keeps the two players glued to one another, to excite the viewer. A love sometimes desperate, sometimes irresistible, and certainly exciting, until now, never boring.
the antipodes, the vicissitudes of Serena, more and more confused about his destiny love: at the mercy of the infinite fast and loose with Dan and Nate, the girl remained at the end of a dry mouth, since the two boys chose focus their attentions elsewhere, to escape the incessant and exhausting its indecision. Since the early days at Columbia, for the blonde star, the problems are not long in coming, but even misunderstandings and disputes with teachers and principal, served the young Van Der Woodsen to put her head in place.
His new "hobby" is named Colin (Sam Paige), a young New York bachelor who lives in his own stable, and his professor at the university. In Goodbye, Columbia, despite Lily tries to warn her, do not listen to reason, and once again, she throws herself headlong into a story without foundation and will almost certainly have no future, as evidenced by the last minutes of the episode, where Colin meets Juliet (Katie Cassidy), a declared enemy of Serena this season, to discuss the plan scored, apparently, to destroy once and for all.
An aura of mystery still pervades the true identity of the character played by Cassidy, controversial and emblematic enough to add suspense to the story. We know little about her, in spite of small revelations snatched here and there as early as the second episode, The undergraduates, in which the rendez-vous behind bars with Ben (David Call), suggests that the fate in store for some bad Serena surprises. Juliet's hostility against him, is the character of Lively to strengthen the relationship with Blair, now stable and strong after the little misunderstanding last year, and crowned by a partnership under the same roof, in the company of the inevitable Dorotah.
And while Nate, subdued by the elegance and sensuality of Juliet, is now blind to each striking action that reveals the true identity of his girlfriend, his friend Dan, as always you drag across the Upper Easy Side, without taking a position or to score some action worthy of note. Resolved (in our opinion too hastily) the situation with Georgina, who returned to Sergei in Russia, the true father of the child Milo, Dan fell into the usual boring and repetitive arguments with Vanessa, to navigate between crisis identity and indecision, which at this point would make it undoubtedly the ideal man for Serena.
To bring a touch, or rather a truck, more at home in Salt Humphrey, the last episode aired, Easy J, we think little J, the return, if only for a few hours in Manhattan after the sad goodbye. Little Jenny
reappears so after a "long" absence and can immediately establish itself in all its irreverence: he feels too nostalgic about his character, rebellious and moody, which rode on the scene since the beginning of the series to date, with its inconsistencies and its quirks, the headers and conduct border line that inspired Humphrey house in all these years.
On his return to New York is synonymous with, once again, the eternal fight with Blair, a war between queens began by chance, just for fun if you like, but still alive, and apparently not going to end so easily. If
Taylor Momsen will be back or not as a recurring character in Gossip Girl guest star or simple, for now remains a mystery, and we do not just have to keep our fingers crossed and cheer for her, and waiting to find out more, wait Came Swedish pop star Robyn, the designer Cynthia Rowley and Joe Zee, creative director of Elle, writing for the episode dedicated to the twentieth birthday of Blair.
